Sumburgh Facilities

Sumburgh Lighthouse is a clean and comfortable self catering cottage. The accommodation has real character and is an excellent base from which to tour the south mainland, or enjoy a holiday immersed in nature.

Bedrooms

Zoom Bedroom There are four bedrooms which sleep up to seven people. There is one double room, one with bunkbeds and a single room accessible through the final twin room. A cot is provided for infants and this can be moved into any of the spacious rooms as required.

The rooms have wardrobe and drawer storage space. Bedding is provided and beds will be made up prior to your arrival. Additional linen is available.

Lounge

Zoom Lounge The lounge area is a relaxing space with comfortable sofas, a television with freeview and video/DVD player, payphone and stunning views out over the cliffs.

Kitchen

Zoom Kitchen The large and spacious kitchen has ample cupboard space, a dining table with chairs and is equipped with the following facilities:

Kettle
Toaster
Microwave
Electric cooker with 4 ring hob, grill and oven
Coffee maker
Cutlery and crockery
Pots and pans
Washing machine
Portable CD player

Basic supplies such as tea, coffee, sugar and milk are provided on arrival along with a complimentary selection of local ale and oatcakes to enjoy while settling in.

Bathroom

The bathroom has a bath with electric shower, toilet and wash hand basin. Towels will be provided.

Other

Zoom View from lighthouse window Other facilities provided include a high chair; hairdryer; washing machine; iron and ironing board; vacuum cleaner; electric blankets and hot water bottles. The property is fully central heated with additional heaters provided.
