Getting To Shetland
The Shetland Islands lie on the 60th line of Latitude North, as far up as Alaska, but with a climate much more akin to the rest of the UK.
Transport links to the islands are excellent, with daily direct flights to Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Inverness airports, with onward connections to other UK and international airports. During the summer months, direct flights are also available to Bergen.
An overnight passenger ferry to and from Aberdeen operates on a daily basis.
Details of all transport providers and routes can be found on Shetland's Transport Partnership website at: http://www.zettrans.org.uk/toandfromshetland/

"Had a superb time, being part of a piece of history. Have to say that Shetland made the UK look substandard. Such a clean and organised place. Islanders should be proud of their environment"
